Anna Olveda, MSCE

VP of Engineering

Anna Olveda joined Wafflemat as a Sales Engineer in 2022 where she is currently the VP of Engineering. In the past 8 years of her engineering career, she has designed numerous commercial, industrial, multi-family and residential projects across the state of Texas that vary in size and complexity. She received her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from Texas A&M University in Kingsville, TX (TAMUK) in 2013 and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering (TAMUK) in 2015 with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.

Anna’s involvement with professional organizations began in 2012 with the ASCE TAMUK Student Chapter (supported by ASCE-Corpus Christi Branch) and has continued her commitment to various organizations throughout her professional career. She has served on the ASCE Board in San Antonio since 2015, where she previously served as the ASCE- San Antonio Branch President and is currently the Assistant Treasurer for the ASCE Texas Section, among other volunteer roles within the organization. She is also a member of PTI, SEAoT and ACI. She has also been published in the ASCE-AEI Journal (2017) for her research in floor vibrations that was presented at the ASCE AEI National Conference (2017). She has also presented at the 2013 ASCE CECON (TEXASCENTENNIAL) on Sustainability and at the PTI 2023 Convention on Shallow Foundations using PTI vs FEM.
