Brian started working at Jacobs in 2001 and currently serves as the Central Texas Bridge Group Leader in the Austin office. After graduating high school in Napa, CA, he enlisted in the US Army as a tank crew member. The Army brought Brian to Texas where he met his wife, raised two sons, and earned his degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. Brian has managed structural design teams for large design-build projects and TxDOT design-bid-build projects. He is experienced with analysis, design, construction, and condition assessment of transportation structures including prestressed concrete bridges, straight and curved steel plate girder bridges, cast-in-place/post-tensioned box girder bridges, multiple types of retaining walls, and sign support structures. Project highlights from his career include Klyde Warren Park, US290/US183 Interchange, US281/LP1604 Interchange, Ladybird Lake Boardwalk, and California High Speed Rail.
