About our Sessions

This presentation will overview many stormwater projects and facilities in Southeast Texas that have green or other sustainability components. Some examples include Low Impact Development demonstrations and detention facilities that serve other community purposes. Southeast Texas is known for intense flooding in an area which is predominantly flat and has other unique challenges. The audience will be introduced to some unique flooding challenges in SETx. The audience will have the opportunity to discuss how multiple purposes for stormwater facilities might be useful for longterm maintenance and operations. The audience will be introduced to the challenges and benefits of demonstration projects for stormwater management.
