Marlea Tichy has over 35 years of experience in the construction and engineering industry, holding key executive leadership, operations and project management roles throughout her career. Tichy played a key role in establishing the water focused design-build subsidiaries at both CDM Smith and MWH (now Stantec), holding operations and board level roles at each firm. While COO of MWH Constructors, she helped grow the group to over $250M in three years, profitably overseeing operations in both the U.S. and the U.K. before being promoted out of the role to assist the parent company in a new venture.
Later, as CEO for two private equity owned construction firms, Tichy successfully orchestrated a series of company turnarounds before returning to focus on the municipal water market at AECOM, and now Kiewit. She is a certified project management professional (PMP), completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University and holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from the University of Denver.
