Md Jobair Bin Alam is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Prairie View A&M University. Dr. Alam has a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Jobair specializes in the areas of geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering with a demonstrated history of working in the industry and university. He has almost 8 years of experience in interdisciplinary research involving the forensic investigation of earth infrastructures using the Geophysical method, unsaturated soil, expansive soil, foundation engineering, earth retaining structures, sustainable waste management, landfill design, operation, and monitoring. He has published over 25 journals, geotechnical special publications (GSP), and conference papers in various geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering disciplines.
