Bio

James has worked in Architectural Design for more than 22 years. He started with CAD drafting and designing facilities around ADA requirements and now works as an accessibility consultant on civil and architectural projects. James works at STV, Inc., a national Engineering and Architecture firm, and provides internal design reviews and consults with clients on a variety of accessibility issues. Client projects include plan reviews, construction-site visits, full facility audits, and self-evaluation & transition plans. James has conducted numerous public right-of-way compliance surveys that have covered thousands of curb ramps, nearly a thousand miles of sidewalks, more than eight hundred street crossings, and hundreds of signalized intersections. He has also conducted more than a hundred facility audits and 75 voting site compliance surveys. James is currently a licensed Registered Accessibility Specialist with TDLR and is completing his ADA coordinator training.
