Bio

Eric Olson, P.E. is a principal and member of SGH’s Building Enclosure Consulting group in Houston, Texas. In his 29 years at SGH he has evaluated and investigated building enclosure systems, including windows and curtain walls, masonry and stucco, rainscreen cladding systems, roofing, and plaza and below-grade waterproofing. His investigation experience includes assessing hurricane, hail and other storm-related damage, design and construction defect claims, surety claims, provided expert witness services related to building enclosure systems, and conducted enclosure system condition assessments. Eric also leads rehabilitation design projects for enclosure systems and performs design consulting for enclosures for new and existing buildings. Eric is licensed in 21 states including TX, FL, GA, AL, LA, and OK.
