Dr. Jason Wu, Ph.D., is an Associate Research Scientist and Assistant Program Manager at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute. With more than a decade of experience in intelligent transportation systems, connected vehicle analytics, and AI-enabled roadway safety, Dr. Wu has led multimillion-dollar projects for USDOT, NCHRP, NHTSA, and TxDOT. His portfolio spans AI-powered traffic control algorithms, telematics-driven safety diagnostics, and roadside LiDAR applications, resulting in 50+ peer-reviewed publications and several field deployments that are transforming how agencies design, operate, and safeguard transportation infrastructure.
