Bio

Akila serves as the Schematics and environmental practice lead at AECOM. She has Twenty four years of extensive transportation industry experience in both public and private sectors. Throughout her career she has managed broad range of transportation projects and programs including schematics, environmental studies, corridor planning studies, Connected and Automated vehicles and traffic engineering studies. She is a registered professional engineer with a strong background in program management. Akila has strong passion for multimodal projects and has ensured that the transportation needs for all modes are addressed in her projects.
