Dr. Eduardo Suescun is a distinguished engineering executive with over 25 years of experience delivering complex infrastructure projects through alternative delivery models, particularly public-private partnerships (P3) across the United States. He currently serves as Chief Technical Officer for Ferrovial Construction North America, where he leads multidisciplinary teams on major transportation initiatives, including the $1.6 billion I-35 NEX Central project in San Antonio, Texas.
Dr. Suescun’s career spans geotechnical design, construction oversight, and technical management across all phases of project delivery. His leadership has been instrumental in advancing design-build and P3 strategies on landmark projects such as the I-66 Outside the Beltway corridor in Virginia, where he directed engineering teams and coordinated across disciplines to meet aggressive delivery schedules and technical demands.
With a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from NYU and professional licensure in multiple U.S. states and Colombia, Eduardo brings deep technical expertise and strategic vision to infrastructure development. He is also a committed advocate for innovation, collaboration, and STEM outreach, actively contributing to global engineering societies and mentoring the next generation of engineers.
