Assistant County Engineer, Brazoria County

Clay Forister, PE, CFM is the Assistant County Engineer for Brazoria County, Texas. His duties include oversight of development review, permitting, and addressing; project management; and coordination with Road & Bridge activities and he is the project manager for both the $101M Brazoria County Expressway and the $130M Brazoria County Courthouse Expansion. Clay has been extensively involved in several non-profit and professional organizations, including serving in numerous leadership positions. He is a member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 1999 and served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve and the Texas Army National Guard. Clay enjoys hunting and fishing and serves as a city council member in Needville, Texas, where he lives with his wife Hillarie and daughters Corrinne and Helen.
