A Note of Caution: As the date of this event draws closer, exhibitors and attendees may be subjected to improper solicitation from third-party housing agencies. If you are contacted by anyone asking if you “need a room for CECON or ASCE Texas’ annual conference” or represent themselves as the “CECON or ASCE Texas Housing Bureau,” please get as much information as you can – such as name of the company, the person calling, and their telephone number—and immediately email these details to office@texasce.org.
Poachers typically offer room reservations at a significantly lower quality. In other circumstances, cancellation policies are often harsh and unforgiving. DO NOT make any reservations through unknown companies. Most importantly, do not provide them with your personal information, especially your credit card number. These rogue companies (commonly referred to as “pirates” or “bandits”) may charge your credit card for services not rendered. For these reasons, and to support our efforts to give you a quality event, we encourage you to book your housing accommodations using the links provided by ASCE Texas Section on this website.
