Alence Poudel is a 2021 graduate of Texas A&M with a passion for data analytics and project management. Since joining the City of Sugar Land in 2021, Alence has advanced to Engineering Manager, where he oversees CIP projects, leads the Development Review Committee, and heads the Modeling and Analysis Division (MAD)—a team dedicated to developing innovative tools that enhance operational excellence and service delivery. An asset management enthusiast, Alence is committed to integrating data-driven decision-making into infrastructure planning, combining machine learning, hydraulic modeling, and financial strategy to support sustainable, high-impact capital planning.
