Laura Weis is North Texas Municipal Transportation Market Director for AECOM’s Gulf Coast Region. AECOM is a Fortune 500 infrastructure consulting firm that partners with clients to solve the world’s most complex challenges and build legacies for generations to come. Laura has focused her 25-year career primarily on Texas transportation planning and engineering design, most recently leading a team to develop the first Texas Statewide Resilience Plan for Texas Department of Transportation. She is a Professional Engineer who received her BS in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. She serves her community as a Girl Scout leader and as a Commissioner on Rowlett’s Planning and Zoning Commission.
