Bio

Prapti Sharma is currently managing the $2.1B Southeast Connector design-build project in the Fort Worth District. She earned her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). Prapti began her TxDOT career as an Engineering Assistant in the Fort Worth District Bridge Section. In this role, she worked on bridge construction and rehabilitation projects.
In 2020, Prapti transferred to the District Construction office to help oversee the procurement and implementation of alternative delivery projects.
