Concrete Pavement Design & Optimization will cover the standard design of concrete pavements. I will describe the more recent design practices for standard jointed concrete pavements and what tools a designer can use for optimization based on the provided information. I will also cover design optimization using specific inputs or aspects that the designer can utilize, such as joint spacing, tied shoulders, and many other inputs to create an efficient concrete pavement that not only optimizes initial costs, but life cycle costs and environmental impacts as well.
