Geospatial data at the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has largely followed traditional data flows. Data often gets siloed at Districts by project and lacks availability to multiple users. What initiatives are in progress for TxDOT geospatial data to be more accessible to TxDOT project team members and the public? How does this affect the collection of geospatial data by surveyors, geospatial information systems (GIS) professionals, and engineers?
