Bio
Ronny Lackey is the Surveying Section Director at the Texas Department of Transportation, and the Survey Workgroup leader for the Digital Delivery Team. He has worked in surveying for 19 years, with 5 years in TxDOT and 10 years in transportation projects. His educational background includes a Bachelors of Geography (GIS) from Texas A&M-College Station and a Masters of Geospatial Engineering from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. He became a Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor in 2013 and currently serves on the Survey Advisory Committee for the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. In his spare time, he’s been a professor in surveying for Lone Star College and Austin Community College.
