Working parents are great assets to our industry because they tend to have excellent management qualities like empathy and flexibility. They are also problem-solvers and multi-taskers who are productive and have great time management skills. However, there are some tough challenges working parents experience every day, especially during the recent pandemic. With combined 25 years of experience in public and private industries, the authors and working mothers will discuss how organizations provide support for working parents to ensure they are successful in their careers and as parents, and how this support makes the organization more successful.
