I am a second-year master’s student at Lamar Univerisity studying Environmental Engineering while working as a graduate assistant for the civil engineering department. I received my bachelor’s from Arizona State University in Engineering with Management with a focus in environmental engineering. I am researching how previous storms impacted the Neches River and the surrounding area in Beaumont, Texas so that future storms will be better understood before they happen.
