Within many of the urban areas, critical roadway corridors are being reconstructed to improve both traffic flow and safety. Many of these roadways are congested at various times throughout the day and as expected construction will lead to further traffic flow concerns. The focus of this presentation will feature two projects that included coordination between the TCP design team and traffic engineers to analyze various TCP options. These options range from ramp closures to ramp relocations. VISSIM allows all involved to understand the consequences related to TCP.
