CECON SafeEvent Policy & Acknowledgement

By registering for CECON 2026, participants agree to comply with all applicable health and safety requirements, policies, and procedures established by CECON, the event venue, and the official headquarters hotel while attending the conference.

CECON is committed to providing a safe, professional, and respectful environment for all participants. Participation in CECON or any associated event or activity is voluntary. All participants are responsible for their own conduct, well-being, and safety, including determining their physical ability and readiness to participate in conference activities.

Participation in conference-related activities involves inherent risks, which may include but are not limited to personal injury, illness, property damage, accidents, environmental or structural conditions, weather-related hazards, use of equipment, interactions with other participants, and exposure to infectious or communicable diseases. Participants knowingly and voluntarily assume all such risks.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants release, waive, and discharge CECON, its organizers, partners, sponsors, host venues, affiliated organizations, and their respective officers, employees, agents, and representatives (“Released Parties”) from any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, or causes of action arising out of or related to participation in the event, including travel to and from the conference, even if such claims arise from the negligence of a Released Party.

Participants acknowledge that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 and other communicable diseases exists at events where people gather and that precautionary measures cannot eliminate this risk. All such risks are assumed, and all claims related to exposure, illness, or related consequences are waived against the Released Parties.

In the event of injury, accident, or illness, participants consent to receiving medical treatment at their own expense. The Released Parties undertake no obligation to provide medical care and assume no responsibility for related decisions or outcomes.

Participants accept sole responsibility for any harm or damage caused to other persons or property during participation in the event.

This policy constitutes a release of liability, waiver of legal rights, and binding agreement to the maximum extent permitted by law. Participation in CECON signifies acknowledgment, understanding, and acceptance of these terms, which shall be binding upon participants and their heirs, representatives, and assigns.
