Victor Restrepo MBABusiness Development Manager | Orica - GeosolutionsVictor Hugo Restrepo Botero is a civil engineer with a Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering from Javeriana University and an MBA from Andes University (Bogota-Colombia). He currently serves as Business Development Manager at Orica – GeoSolutions, supporting the adoption of advanced monitoring technologies for critical infrastructure and geohazards. With over 20 years of experience across infrastructure, mining, and oil & gas, he was also the co-founder and Technical Manager of Geoandina, a leading engineering consulting firm specialized in instrumentation, in-situ testing, and structural health monitoring in Latin America. Victor has contributed to more than 300 projects in the region and has been an active lecturer, author, and international speaker focused on innovation, risk management, and technology-driven engineering solutions. He is also the Colombian representative to the ISSMGE TC220 – Field Monitoring in Geomechanics.
