Bio
Gregor Wollmann is a structural engineer in HNTB’s bridge group in New York City but based in Blacksburg, Virginia, where he is engaged in the design and construction of long-span and complex structures, encompassing both steel and post-tensioned concrete bridges. Most notably, his portfolio includes ten network tied arches ranging from pedestrian to long-span highway and railroad bridges.
Gregor is a graduate of the Vienna University of Technology in Austria and also holds M.S and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Texas at Austin. He was inducted into the Academy of Distinguished Alumni of UT’s Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering Department in 2019.
