The Civil Engineering Division provides the city’s infrastructure master plans (water, wastewater, reuse water) which prioritize infrastructure expansion or improvement projects for the water distribution and wastewater collection systems. The Frisco Reclaimed Water Plant is a key component of this effort, focusing on the treatment and reuse of water to ensure sustainable water management and supply for the city. The plant processes wastewater and transforms it into high-quality reclaimed water, which is then used for irrigation, industrial processes, and other non-potable purposes, reducing the city’s potable water supply demand.
